Local Sport Grant funded by NSW Government

Ryders thank the NSW Government for grant funds for our project "Female Coaching and Sweeping Development in Dragon Boating". The funding enabled increased skills of our female leaders, creating great role models for our members. Before the project we had 1xLevel 1 female coach, now 1xLevel 2 coach and 2xLevel 1 coaches. We had 2 female sweeps, now 6. The 2 x S&C coaches retained accreditation. The 3 female leaders that undertook the Sport Manager DISC Profiling said it was very valuable.

We are also so proud of our members who trained hard and trialled for these teams but missed out on selection, what a great experience for your paddling journeys 💪🏻 💚
